Twenty-two | Anger Acid

Anger acid eats
away the lone host until
hollowness remains.

Not in the mood to say much today.
My mama taught me that if I was in a bad mood, I should just keep it to myself.
So, that is what I'll do.

I hope you enjoyed your glimpse at this spooky, condemned house
that I pass frequently.
The windows that have curtains but no glass panes freak me out a bit.
I'm not sure why.

Happy Wednesday.

  2. LOVE! how you processed these....CREEPY!! Those crumbly, dangly shingles and gutter are awesome! Yea, I think the curtains blowing in the breeze would creep me out, too. Here's to a bad morning leading to a much better afternoon! :-)

    1. Rebecca, me too! But you know what? I was in the passenger seat for this one and we passed going 40 MPH! I set a higher ISO and a high speed in anticipation of the movement. I set the shutter at a high burst rate and just panned and shot! :)

  16. Great shots, and I'm amazed you took them as a "drive by." The haiku is very true. Hate those dark moods. . .I blame winter for the latest spate.

  19. Wonderful haiku! Love these images and your processing. I agree with you about the curtained windows without glass - What lurks behind them/I don't know but it's freaky/Take off like a shot!
Hope your day ends on a brave note.
